All-New Turbocharger
We moved the turbocharger inside the belly of the beast. It sits next to the exhaust manifold for faster air displacement, more power and reduced turbo lag. *Class is full-size pickups over 8,500 lbs. GVWR.

Both our new engines, the available 6.7L Power Stroke® V8 turbo diesel and the 6.2L V8 gas engine, were engineered and built to deliver best-in-class fuel economy.* The impressive thing is that the fuel economy is achieved with engines that are light in weight but big in towing, hauling, torque, horsepower and all-around toughness. The 6.7L Power Stroke® turbo diesel delivers an 20% improvement over the previous diesel, while the 6.2L gas V8's improvement is 15%.

The 6.7L Power Stroke® turbo diesel engine delivers improvements to horsepower, torque, towing, hauling and fuel efficiency. And that’s not all. The state-of-the-art emissions system of this all-new turbo diesel powerplant combines industry-proven technology and Ford-designed innovations to meet the latest strict federal emissions standards, reducing nitrogen oxide (NOx) levels by more than 80 percent compared with the previous regulations.
6.8L V10 Gas Engine
Offered on the Super Duty® F-450 and F-550 Chassis Cabs, the 6.8L V10 is the only large-displacement gas engine of its kind available in the Class IV/V segment.* The 6.8L V10, with features such as a free-breathing 3-valve-per-cylinder induction system, continues building its reputation as a dependable workhorse with its impressive 362 horsepower and 457 lb.-ft. of torque.
SelectShift™ Automatic Transmission
SelectShift™, the driver-initiated functionality, now has two modes. In Progressive Range Select, you can limit the range of gears to lock out overdrive for consistent speed over hills and mountain ranges. In Full Manual mode, you can go all the way up and all the way down the gearbox to put you fully in control.
